and
my babies got a bottle, but it whines all the time!
Nice one Dave
You got classic insurence for this one, so you dont need any no claims bonus
So whats it like then, does it run well and has it had any mods yet
Im only asking as Sharon will want to know you know
CheeRS folks!
The car runds real sweet and is my daily driver now. I am not planning to do any mods cos I like the car just as it is. Well, appart from sorting some rust on the N/S front wing and inside the doors. I have got a bucket of catty and some spray cans so will get this sorted over the next few weeks. Dosnt need doing really but I may as well make it look better cos its cheap!!
The engine is covered in Waxoyl as is the under side of the car so no worries there.
Just a nice honest proper car and I am more than happy with it. I even like the handeling as it seems to be stiffer than I imagined it would be? I may go for that anti-roll bar kind of set up on the rear later on tho, its dead cheap and easy!!
I know it aint black but I am going through a bit of a colour stage at the minute with the Tangoed beastie. But a full black respray can be done on the cheap in the future should I change me mind...

Mine was also black and Y reg. KCG 427Y if I remember right, was 5 speed though. It was very tall geared and would show 80 in second gear at 6000rpm. Good idea to fit a Kenlowe fan as they run pretty hot when you get in traffic, there's plenty of room
so you don`t fancy a set of five spoke special rims and some club tublar manifolds then? Just happen to know someone with em cheap who could bring em to a trackday?
my 2.8i would do 70 in second and i didnt push it more than that! i had it a good few years back and the classic policy with ltd miles was about £150 fully comp i think.
Rich, my car actually runds very cold, even in traffic? I just changed the temp sender cos it had the wrong one fitted but its still showing just on the bottom line of the gauge. I did the earth test on the guage and all seems to fine there also. It just does not get hot??
Must change them brake pads though. Mind you at £6.40 a full set its getting expensive to run...
