I'll post some photos of her in her present state on the 'projects' board!

      Re: Me old skool ride!

hey hey!! cool, ive had LOADS of cortina's, over 30 at last count, changed to mk1 escort now, but if you got any queries im your man, my cous is building a 2.9 24 valve one at the moment, we used to sling 2.8 injection engines in em and go sideways everywhere. great cars, dont handle great but you can get all your family in em and they are pretty comfy. (and a 2.8i and 5 spd is more economical than a 2.0L) you gonna have to put decent bushes in the back though, the 2.8's used to kill standard ones in a week or so, so god knows what a cossies lump will do to em! probaly best sling a set of capri twin lights in as well, them headlights are crap. Mk 2 orion rear lights will bolt straight in if you chop a bit of the black plastic away from the edge too, most of the rear ones for mk 5's have faded badly now i found. Probably sort you out a ton of spares if you ever come down this way.

Nice. It's good to see a clean Cortina, a rare site now, thanks to Banger Racing.

Rick's right...those wheels do go really well.
