    MY MK2 Escy

Hi all, took this pic of me MK2 Today...bought it back in FEB '02 as a totally standard 1100 pop, with 54k and 2 previous owners.Took 4 months to find one. Car is now pretty well modified, with a modded 1300GT x-flow, as im only 18. Only work part time as well as im at 6th form still!!! Saving for holiday at the mo, but will begin modding again after hol. Ful respray cage e.t.c all being well.Anyway, hope ya like it

Oh, and do you reckon i should put some rally pimp mud flaps on?

    Hi Danny.
Saw you + your car at Newark Autojumble last month, looked very nice then and does so in the pics.
Is it Midnight Blue? If so, it's the same colour as my new Mk2, which is also a 1.3 (although not for long).
I'd go for mud flaps if thats the look you are wanting, I think they look smart aslong as they are body coloured. Will hopefully be getting some for mine eventually once i get a few other bits sorted out.

    Cheers, Greg.

          Re: MY MK2 Escy

Hi Mate. Not even got the car home yet, been having some work done (new front wings, front panel) from the bloke i bought it off, and needs to be MOT'd. Should get it home next week hopefully.
Needs work cosmetically (a respray..) but i cant be arsed with that yet. Will just aerosol the wings and some other bits that need re-doing for the moment, not too bothered if it looks a bit rough as long as it looks 'ard. Money will then be spent on getting the suspension and drivetrain sorted out, hopefully a 2ltr conv. if i can find a bloody job.
Just blue mudflaps should be alright i reckon, they add quite a lot to the way a car looks; even my mates Corsa looks better with them..
Lastly, dont have a digital camera yet (another future purchase when i start working again) so there wont be pics for a while. Will post 'em on here when i get some, hopefully i might see you at some shows later on in the year - especially as you dont live that far away.

          Cheers, Greg.

                Hiya young Dan,

Nice to see you on here m8

as for the coloured mud flaps, I'd leave 'em off m8 I personally think the spoil the look of a nice road car, best left for the rally cars

only one use for mud flaps, if they hit the floor, stop turning, your cars about to fall over.
