Not bad at all m8, thats a good step up

I agree with the lowering BUT get it done at a specialist if you do it, they need to realign everything after.

Oh and the steering wheel must go LOL

Re: finally its my new car, ive only had it 8 weeks

when i get the lowering done it will most definitely be done by citroen failing that i will get one of the local bmw mechanics to do it, my uncle runs the servicing dept'

agree with steering wheel comment but i am reassured by the fact it has an airbag, was wanting the next model up, a vts, that has 4 airbags

i tell you what tho, its very good fun to drive, very responsive 1600 8 valver with excellent standard handling and superb brakes note the disks all round,

the effort made by citroen/peugeot was definitely concentrated on chassis dynamics and performance, interior is very basic, the way i like it tho

Be careful how much you lower it, and make sure you read yoru warranty booklet before hand just to make sure it's ok to do so. Also, Citroen do a bloody good job of making them handle well out of the box so it make be worth doing other stuff first (K&N etc..)

I got done by one of these yesterday and it was fecking rapid - if I didn't get my Ford discount (thus making it silly to get anything but a Ford) I'd have one tomorrow.

have looked into and citroen have some rules about modifying, you have to get parts ok'd by the servicing department or sourced by citroen and also fitted by them ( very expensivo ) to not invalidate the warranty, i am being very cautious about this as i dont wanna mess it all up, i have enquired about it and it seems that if it is done outwith the citroen dealer that it only affects the suspension on the warranty, im not doing anything until i have found out the truth about it, i mean whats the point in buying a brand spanking new car if you are not gonna get the peace of mind that goes along with it, after all it still is very capable in standard form

my bought one about six weeks before me ( he talked me into it ) he has already lowered his, put a k&n 57i on it with some ram air thingy, and put a full stainless magnex on it he is not caring about the warranty, but saying that he doesnt have to use his car for his work he has a works van, once i have my finances in order i still want to get my escort sorted,

                  thanks for the compliments tho

Well done I say the same.

It makes me laugh all the people who want to chip up their Focus RS when you know it's going to invalidate the warranty.
Ah, but Superchips say that they will warranty a failure if it is proved to be as a result of the chip! - You could never prove conclusively that any failure (mechanical or electrical) was down to the chip itself. Therefore superchips's warranty isn't woth a

When you buy a new car the whole point is the warranty and thus the 'no surpise' garage bills.

I think you have a cracker, and think it is well worth modding it the official route.
