My new RS

Just got my hands on this very tidy G(89) 3 owner RST. Completly standard apart from a 2.5inch Mongoose system and twin piston dump valve.Its got full service histroy and has just had its 84000m service.Not sure what road i'am going down with it yet weather to mod or stay standard.Good board guys,keep it up.

Hi there, welcome to turbosport.....
Nice Motor, i got a black one aswel, know what you mean about keeping it clean its a nightmare!!! Heres some pics of mine, showing the full leather interior, front seats are from a VW corrado and the rears have been re-trimmed in leather.
I have some special cutting compound for black paint, works a treat, my motor had stood for 18 months before i paid £1100 for it........... 2 owners from new and with a FULL MAIN DEALER history (Yes MAIN DEALER) and a folder of bills to the tune of £15.000!!!
My opinion on moddin the motor is this........

1. Try to keep the mods as tastefull as poss
2. Try (Where possible) to keep all the parts you remove from the car, as these tend to make more money in standard form.

nice motor mate, but just noticed you dont have a 90 spec rear spoiler, and i was under the impression that all G reg's were 90 spec cars???? am i wrong.
but anyway, ver ynice motor, i do like rst's

G reg S2 have got 90 sepc interior as this was actually intruduced (spl?) in 89. The bumpers and spoiler were 90 though

Like the trim..did it take much work to get the seats in?? I've just changed the front lamps to totally clears from Nomad,i'am very impressed with them.
