    Why I sold the MK1

The only real reason for me parting with my MK1 was so that I could get a mint Moonstone 3dr!

I think I have succeeded. Its only done 16k from new and is as clean as you'd expect for a car of that mileage. It runs a true 280bhp @ the rear wheels. The spare wheel has never been used and the D40 still has the crayon marks on it. The interior smells like new.

The only thing that I wouldn't have done to it if I had done all the mods is the wheels. They look OK but are not my first choice!

Well, was it worth selling the MK1 for?

BTW, sorry about the picture quality, I haven't taken any of it myself yet. Been too busy driving it!

1st on my wish list is a new gear nob and a 4 spoke RS steering wheel. Both have to be new tho is you know of any??

Mate thats a minter, you lucky bloke Of course you made the right decision on the Mk1, that 3Dr looks lovely and with miles to match. Not many with that odometer reading Make sure you don't clock it up though.... hard I know but keep the miles down, it'll be an investment.

I can see where the previous owner was going with the wheel choice. Hock stylee
