Hi. Love your ideas and i love modified Anglias.Im building one at the moment which is fully spaceframed with double wishbone front.six linked atlas rear with motorsport lsd.9x13 Minilites with 215/50x13 Kuhmos front and rear.Full alloy interior.Sparco rev seats.Ive bought new 270 bhp 2.3 Duratec from Scholar and new 6 speed sequential box from Elite racing transmissions.Its just had firewall/bulkheads fabricated and im playing around with bodywork at the moment.I want to keep it looking like an Anglia but on steroids.I would love to have a go at the Zakspeed type look but im not that brave.It will probably have steel trailer type arches like the classic hot rods.Im hoping to get it on the road for the summer but then ive been saying that for the last 3 years.

your car was sort of what very first got me thinking about spaceframes years ago when it was in classic ford
interested to see how it develops

You remind me of myself at your age, nobody in my family was into cars i started on bikes at 11 then a mini at 13 to my first mk2 escort at 16 which i built into a nice rally car.Did my apprenticeship at a local classic car specialist, qualified, then got fed up with crap pay and quit. biggest mistake of my life.
Stick with it, dont let the girls distract you too much
