Maybe me but the old Forum used to have a button or a setting so that loading the forum, it'd only show unread posts - saves trolling through loads of stuff to find new posts! Personally I used it all the time - can it be re-introduced please? Oh and the site is very black or is that just the Halloween thing? Also I seem to have 19 odd notifications dating back to 2005 ? that seem to be Moderator Grade access info - I can approve or delete them ? ? ?

To the left of the section titles is an icon that indicates (point cursor towards it) if that sections has unread posts or not. Could be that that is not operational yet. Also have a lot of notifications. -
i think what you want is the "whats new" button ? and new since last visit button, i too used these all the time. also want the old look back lol
