Went to a wildlife park this afternoon with the kids and took some pics, as ya do.

Anyway thought i would have a go and remove the bars from the pics, what ya reckon ? not bad for a first attempt i thought.

Slim,

For those of us that are not so hot with graphics, tell us briefly how you did it, what tools you used etc.

I have loads of pics I need to retouch or modify but never seem to have the time to figure out how to use my graphics software to sort em out.

That looks excellent, I would try to do this by copying the grass from another area and pasting it over the fence, but it doesn't look like you did that, especially around the monkey fur..

What tool(s) did you use?

I used the clone tool, it copies what is under one cursor under the second. If you use a brush with a feathered edge it seems to blend in better.

so if one prarie dog seems a bit lonely you can give him a few friends

I have used the clone tools before many times but I must say your results with the monkey were really impressive m8.

You must have patience and a steady hand.

From what I've heard there's nothing steady about Slims hand - it is apparently rythmic though!
