Wolfie, an Astra was the fastest car to blow its sump onto Quarry Corner and close the track for 20 mins in first session of the day..

Andy, you've caught me out mate!!! see here

A mate and me bodged it back together and I haven't bothered finishing it off yet.. The rust has started coming though already! BUT in my defence it wasn't worth spending any time/money on until I got a years ticket on it! (which I got about 3 weeks ago now) I have been spending most of my money & time on the MK1 at the moment so the BMW will be finished off to look presentable in the near future!

Mind you I don't give a monkeys what it looks like as I only intend on keeping it for a year as a cheap runaround! By this time next year I would have won the lottery and have masses of cars to choose from!

Them two S1's in the pic above Kierons BMW are mine and my mates, his is the one with the Strange stripes, they do grow on you after a while, my little baby is on the left

Scott, i don't mind those stripe's on your mates car, they don't seem to over the top and its still got the classic S.1 shape that never ages..

I think we'll use the word "repaired" very loosely!

Scott I don't mind the stripes either. Reminds me of about 10 years ago when everyone first had the tiger stripe thing going on. That was when I first got into the RS scene so its nice to see some old styling.. Just please don't tell me he has some 3 spoke rims at home!
