a while ago, we had to go and do a survey on my bosses house for an extension which was building over an existing foul manhole, so we had to raise the lid to measure it etc, and found the most enormous log just lying there (which he had prepared earlier without thinking of the consequences)! bear in mind that the drain it is laid in is 4 inches across, to give you some idea of the magnitude of this creation. needless to say we promptly took a photograph and emailed it to everyone and posted it on the internet.

i'm sure anybody would have done the same, here it is in all its splendour (sorry its out of focus but was laughing uncontrollably when i took the picture), office pranks dont come much bigger than this:
