Mk2 Escort Autograss class 2

Hey guys,

Im new to the forum and I thought I'd post up a few shots of my Race Car.

Its a class 2 autograss car so 1.3 litre gt xflow with SU carb running through a 32mm resticter plate (as per regs), 4-2-1 Ashley manifold with 2" twin box system. Fully stripped and caged Tank and Battery in boot, corbeau seat with 5 point harness.

Pics are of the car as I bought it. The car is currently having a bit of cage work to bring it up to the latest regs and I'll be respraying it when it comes back. Will post pics of how it turns out.







My first race is on the 9th of Sept so just a bit of work to do!!

Finally got the car back from www.mattroachracing.com and have had a fun day sanding and filling, also got the first two coats of white base coat sparayed on. Much nicer than that crappy gold.

Thanks mate. Only problem is have discovered a broken engine mount so on the hunt for a new one before my first race on the 9th!!!

Passenger side has gone! I've got it booked in at www.atspeedracing.co.uk for tuning on monday afternoon as well! If you have a spare one that would be great.

Painting all done just alot of stickers to go on now.

Final results from www.atspeedracing.co.uk 61bhp at 5701rpm and 69.5 lbft at 3572rpm. Not too bad considering the 32mm restrictor plate. May not set the world alight though
