Clubman Spec Group 4

Here's a few pics of my group 4 escort that's only taken me 9 years to build. Can't afford to rally it at the moment so have done a few hillclimbs and sprints this season.
Does anyone no the best way to protect the underside of the car. Was wondering what the show cars use. Every time I enter an event it takes me ages to clean the underside when I get back home. I don't want to blast it all with waxoil and if anything it tends to make all the crap stick. I've given it a good coat of polish to try and help the crap fall off but it still takes me for ever. Its not too bad when the paddocks hard standing but the majority of events I've done so far tend to be wet muddy fields full of sheep and cow muck
Just wondering if there are any other products out there chaps.

Hey up chris ! This car is a very nice build, pics dont do it justice !
How u doing with the sprints mate ?
Ive got all paperwork at home for mi licence but just havent had time to sort it all out.
I might leave it til nxt year now when weathers a bit better, do a few track days and try get my car setup sumwer near......
Have u been to see billy about an engine ?

Not been to Billys yet mate. A bit skint at the moment. Finished my last event for this year. Starting to get the hang of it but could do with a few lessons to be honest. Hows your project coming on ?

"Clubman Spec" does the car an injustice. Looks well put together. But you need to paint the panel behlnd the grill black!

Maybe so but we dont all have loadsa money and big mansions !

Im still waiting for painter to prep and paint my grp4.
The four doors caged and seats gone in but ive drove it today and engines not so happy at min. Need a trip to billy myself i think to let him have a listen.....nothing major, ive balanced carbs so that probs problem haha.
