    Another Project and istn FWD this time :) 4 Door RWD

    hi all i have a ongoing project on my 205 further down the page sumwhere but in the meantime i thought id get something diffrent it has 4 doors a pinto and aint no escort il keep it at that now

    i shall get some pictures up of it soon and il be after some advice on getting abit more power from the old pinto

    might not be much but its got the ball rolling

          right heres a quick spec of the car from the seller

          2.0 pinto with stage 3 head
          vernier pulley , high pressure oil pump
          5 speed tran x
          paddle clutch
          alloy rad
          degas 38 carb
          4.7 cwp and plated cozzy slip
          xr3 calipers all round with hd handbrake
          coilovers on front koni on rear
          bolt on shafts
          4x4 front calipers
          compresion struts instead of anti roll bar
          quick rack
          corsa electric power steerting
          seats , cage , belts and guards
          alloy tank in boot
          ashley over axle exhaust
          boot has been flat floored

          it also has a msa log book just a few things needed to get it ready for stages

          the car was built by simon summers and he did win a few road rallys in it when he had a 2.2 pinto so does have some good history

          will get some better pics up soon as those were when i bought it

          it is a bit rough but itl do me as i just need to learn to drive rwd and have some fun

          so does anybody have sierra saphire rear bumpers ?

              i did see i might just wait till the time comes when i need 1 as he gave me 1 with the car along with a few other bits

                  Best thing if he does put this in the hedge, he can always drop the bits out of the sierra to any of the four mk2 he has at his disposal

                          yeah its ok i might get another shell and build it back up tidy we shall see

                          meanwhile ive just put an entry in for bro caron thats on next weekend so plenty of work to do on the car

                          to do list :

                          timing belt
                          re new all fluids
                          fit new sump guard
                          new exhaust rubbers and make siure exhaust dont leak
                          fit rear bumper tidy as its in a few pieces
                          sort cables for handbrake

                          and im siure il find plenty of other things to do

                          and i need to learn how to drive it

                            Managed to get the car ready for bro caron at car 66 had a shaky start just geting used to the car and the first selective being very slippery it was good fun second selective i was starting to get better and knowing what gear to use on the corners and trusting the tyres

                            but then last selective before petrol i was trying abit too hard in the fog and put it off on a 90 left slid down a little verge into a headge and were stuck ther so went otl but got out and went to have a watch

                            so now to get it ready for bro teifi in april only needs a headlamp and bumper so not too bad and maybe a wing

                              Haven't updated in a while done two events since and finished one and that was dale stage had a good laugh and drove sideways all day shall get some videos up and pics next event now mini epynt next week seeded last car so hope to have flu and drive slow ha
