92mm Pinto, ultra big valve head, ht1 cam, steel rods, forged pistons, 48's, 4.4lsd, Tranx 5 speed box, 4pots, bilsteins, panhard etc.

Wipac clear lenses lamps, they're not expensive and fit the Escort bowls.

Hillclimbs and Sprints bud, it is road legal though, I'm surrounded by amazing country roads so it would be ashame not to use it.

i live in st.andrews so not far from you just got a gp4 escort mk2 rally car to do tarmac events

Good man, I'm just south of Edin now, near Peebles, are you doing Crail in Nov? I follow a lot of the Scottish club rallying, what engine is in yours?

yes that will be my first rally, its a 2ltr vauxhall on throttle bodies and a quaife 6 speed sequential box with fully floating axle

I'm searching for another shell at the moment to getr prepped ready for next season and swap all bits over and then do this shell

Motorsport tools have a grp4 shell for sale, I'm offshore for the Crail rally, XE's are cracking engines, I build a lot of XE's and Pinto's. If you need anyone to mechanic for you give me a shout.

Lovely looking car, seeing finished projects like this make you realise that there is light at the end of that seemingly endless tunnel!

What seats are those, they look nicely of the period.
