Hi! This is my Escort MK1. I´m building it for hillclimb and auto cross.

Some specs:

- 1968 Escort.
- Cosworth YB turbo with enem P14 cams, baffeled wetsump, Borgwarner EFR 6758 turbo, 4,2kg crmo billett flywheel.
- Sierra front spindles with wilwood brakes.
- Atlas axle with quife diff and axles, 4-link.
- Full rollcage.
- GAZ coilovers.
- Sellholm knife antirollbars F+R.
- Sparco EVO2 seats.
- 205/50x15 Maxxis RC1 tyres.

Some updates! Now it´s close to startup after this rebuild.

Here is the dynosheet of the cosworth yb with enem P14 cams, custom intake, Borgwarner 6758 efr turbo, catalytic converte.
You can see two different tunes. One with 1,4bar boost, and one with straight torque curve, wich makes it easier to handle. Both tunes takes down the boost after 7000rpm to 1,2bar to ease up the backpressure.
What a engine!

Some LED lights inside the car can be nice to have if it´s dark.









The doors are done.









Seats and new Sparco harness is mounted. All electrics are done including FIA rainlights.










Towing stuff.








Front antirollbar with Sellholm knifes 320mm and 35x5 tube.





I made some clamps to prevent the antirollbar to move side to side.






Kevlar cutting tejp.










Some black carwrap.









Cut the wrap with the cuttingtejp.









Some sponsor decals. Payback Lubricants have really nice produkts!










The finished look for now. I´m really pleased with the result.

Thanks guys!!! The first test session is coming up. I´ve built one more adjustible knife antirollbar at the rear. Everything feels great with little roll. Still untuned it´s quite good ballance with some oversteer but great turnin. Will soften up the rear shocks and swaybar some, and out and test more. Cant wait to do some real testing at the 2,6km long slalomcorse we have at a airbase nearby (only 110km away).

Now I have my brand new FIA pappers in order! Nice! So now it´s a real competition car.

Question: Have someone tryed the MAXXIS RC-1 tyres? And how do the against toyo R888 or V70A?

very nice. One suggestion. Half of your sponsors wording as disappeared into the rear arch. Might be worth moving the lubricants bit to another location maybe.
