My Timex race car was originally supplied as a Compression strut model. At some point a front antiroll bar was fitted and that is the configuration when I bought it. I am looking into suspension configuration for the rebuild
Note: I see several Historic Mk1 race cars with both Compression Struts and Anti roll bars fitted. I have a few questions regards these differing setups. This car will only be used as a track car,
Thanks for your input

Note: I see several Historic Mk1 race cars with both Compression Struts and Anti roll bars fitted. I have a few questions regards these differing setups. This car will only be used as a track car,
- Compression Struts. Is there any advantage to the OEM set up over after market such as GP4 or Burtons?
- Are OEM original compression struts chassis brackets and compression struts arms available or even recommended?
- Anyone got any detailed pics of OEM setup
- The OEM compression struts TCA available recommended? (the new kits seem to use the anti-roll bar TCA configuration)
- I see Gartrac offer a Tension strut kit, can anyone supply application information on this option
- Is the combination or compression and anti -roll bar considered the optimum setup for a Historic Appendix K car
- This related to my French 1300GT that does not have the Twin cam anti roll bat fitted. It has the 1300GT style and castor angle looks wrong now I fitted the Mexico front wings. Would the compression strut be a better option than installing an AVO anti roll bar.
