And this is the main reason it was taken off the road - turned out to be a compressed rear spring (although it could just have been cause Big Dave was the passenger
)

The second car is my "temporary" track car
Sierra XR4x4 - Tigger
It's a car I now share with Ken (RSEscorts) while I get the V8 put back together. Rick B previously owned half of it for the same reason. The inspiration for it came from Dave's (RS2000Custom) "The Gimp"
A cracking car which owes us very little and has done numerous track days, frequently quicker than much more exotic stuff (although not down the straights) - see the vid clips from the last Durham & Derby RS Owners day from Croft - http://www.northernbloke.com/t-drsoc2005.html
Body:
Standard with the addition of a subtle Tiger Stripe kit and blacked out windows
Engine:
2.9 litre V6 bored out to 3.1 with lumpy cam etc. Details unknown but it was, alledgedly, built by a rally team mechanic so goes pretty well.
Transmission:
Standard.
Suspension:
Uprated Koni's all round.
Brakes:
Standard.
Wheels and Tyres:
Front: Oz with Michelin Pilot's.
Rear: Oz with Michelin Pilot's.
Interior:
Was Sierra Cosworth but is now stripped.
Steering:
Standard.
Pics show the car at Brunters, Croft, Langbaurgh and Donington.

Loads of pics and vids of mine, and the other lads cars, past and present, on my web site - click the sig.
