yes kev i have to watch myself up the boxhill meet incase i get linched for taking a renault up there , and mr harrier mk2 i'm glad you like the 182 clio cos they are a cracker to drive . Here's another one of my renaults for you , 1985 gordini turbo , 195 bhp and 185 ibls feet of torque on 15 psi of boost , runs 14 .4 secs at 99 mph at santa pod and i can't use full throttle until it gets into 3rd gear due to no traction

here's the engine , 1.4 litre pushrod x-flow , gt turbo pistons and liners , t3 hybrid turbo , gt turbo carb conversion , alloy intercooler , etc . It's fooookin fast on the street , between 40 mph and 115 mph i've upset a few big horsepower escort cossies

this picture of the R8 was taken at the old skool ford meet at box hill last summer . I especially like the way all the ford boys are avoiding it

I love these to bits. A mate of mine had two in primer when we were about 20 and sold the buggers on. Try finding one now for sale. I looked a year or two back and they are rare as hens teeth. If you type Gordini in Ebay it laughs at you.

ahh yes the old gordini turbo { plastic missile } , made of baked bean tins and cardboard , its so light , i junked the rear seats ,boot trims etc and took it down the weight bridge and 750 kilo's thats half the weight of most turbo saloon cars

Yo, homes, 'bout time you took me for a drive in one of your beasts. The renault 8 has to appear round my place soon. Hope you enjoyed the blast in my motor recently. I'll try to post it up on here soon.
