                                                Thanks Dave I try and keep it as nice as possible, the most annoying thing with a race car are stone chips that appear on every bit of bodywork that faces forward. Headlamps, windscreen, grille everything gets chipped.

                                                    ken, i had a good look over your car today, and you have inspired me to do a few things on mine, but thinking now there is a couple more questions i should have asked you if you dont mind?...
                                                    where is your battery? is it where my passenger will sit?
                                                    do you know how much lower than standard your car is?
                                                    and the only other thing that springs to mind at the minute is will mr MOT man be alright if i drill holes in the rear subframe do you reckon? cos it will look a whole lot cooler when i take the rear panel away

                                                        dont drill the subframe on a road car! its should fail the MOT, as far as the mot testers manual goes it would be be deemed as a deliberate modification which reduces the strength of a suspension component, also dont forget race minis are very light and dont carry passengers or luggage!
