Cheers guys, got my first event next weekend so spending tomorrow giving a final spanner check. Been a navagator for about 12 years and finaly decided to swap seats..... will be strange sat in the easy seat at stage start!!

Have been thinking of trying to get to one of Trigs track days if i can fit it in as the Combe is my nearest track being down here in Devon, might struggle for gears and revs on track though.....

Nice car, great result for you as well. A friend of mine runs one in the Toyota Sprint Series, has to stick with the 4AGE but sounds great on 45's.

Hello everyone must apologise for not coming on of late but as pictures will show its been a bit busy for me!
                    Shes gone from this........

                    to this

Upside down in the cauliflour field. very fast long left with a awkward cut over a lip in tarmac was through the apex just getting back into full throttle and the car hopped and snapped violently left heading for the field but just about to take to the caulis she started to come back round and with a 3ft drop she dropped her nose dug-in and up over she went landing on the ns corner of the roof. we were ok but wallet severly damaged.

The rebuild is well under way with some major suspention changes that i had planned for the winter anyway but a lot sooner than i planned! But hey ho thats rallying

Sorry to read about your accident. Good to hear that you're going to rebuild it with some further improvements.

What ideas have you got for the suspension?

                          Re: My Starlet

Have been replacing all the rear tubs to get rid of some scabby bits and going over to a 6 link escort set up after chatting to some irish guys running them said it was a huge improvment over the starlet bar setup so while i was at it ive gained a bit of wheelbase as a standard starlet is 100mm shorter in the wheelbase than a standard escort, hopefully by going in the middle it should be a bit more predictable in the fast stuff but still nimble in the tight stuff

Good result for you the other week Kev you got a run on the fat albert?? I out naving for Tony in the Sunbeam, never been to Kevil so should be a larf!
