The 4A-GE is a great wee engine, plenty power for a 1600cc. How are you getting on with it & what are you doing for a sump ? Dry sump ?

Any pics of your project ?

That looks superb mate, always loved the AE86. Had a couple of trips over to the Circuit of Ireland with my motor club to do some marshalling and was great to see so many Corolla's over there. Must have been about 7 course opening cars at one point and they were all AE86s. Just finished building an Integrale with my mate for rallying, got base vehicle as an absolute bargain otherwise it would have been a Corolla for us.

You need to get across for Donegal this year then....plenty of Twin Cam rally cars & absolutely loads of road cars......you wont believe it til you see it !!

Beautiful car, very, very neat, almost too nice to rally.

What exhaust manifold are you using?
Im fitting a 20V to an escort and the janspeed I bought (which is for an AE86) wont fit, the one you have looks a lot tidier.

And is that 2 plumbed in extinguishers I see, or is that just a second handheld behind the seat?

very clever with the removable section of the slam panel . and the cage is nicely tied forward from the A pillar .

The manifold is a Cusco item if I remember correctly but Im not sure if it was a modified 16v one as theres not much difference.

In Ireland, if I remember correctly....you need 2x large hand helds & a 4litre plumbed in.
