    fiesta xr2i

    well this is my xr2i that will become my new car to race was used by me as a road car but when george came along it came of the road as wasnt very apropriote having 3 kids
    now though its coming back out the spec of it at the moment isnt really relevant as itll be built to suit low level sprint reqs.





    at the moment i just need to speak to some1 in the no about what classes their are (i know abit but id really like to have a good chat with some1 who can tell me the ins and outs before i star getting parts)once ive got some more info ill start cracking getting her ready for this 1st stage i just wanna get out their and enjoy it again and get involved

      had today of work so ive had a quick play with xr fitted my cobra seat and trs harnesses because i needed to be doing somthing(other than t cutting my mk2 ready to sell ) also dragged my spare zetec engine out the corner of my garage ready to be re built to go into the old girl!
      ive got spme pics but my comps on the go slow and is lucky its not left via the window already so ill put them up tommorow!

                  after speaking to gavin r(thanks again m8)ive decided that im going to go for a modified production car class! this class i feel fits me best and is more what i was looking to do than the road going classes!

                  i think im going to have to make a list of prioritys for the car what i need thats going to be essential and what can wait till maybe once im competing!

                  so far my list of must haves is

                  gaz coilovers
                  modified rear beem
                  uprated bushes(possibly rose jointed arms)
                  6point cage
                  engine rebuild with some cams/head work baffeld sump and arp fixings
                  engine management(maybe throttle bodies)
                  then the extra safety stuff cut off switches and fire exstinguishers and alike
                  perspex windows

                  im sure as i start building the list of things will grow as is usually the case

                  also i may be getting a mot failure escort gti that i can run in road going whilst i put my fiesta together not sure yet tho!
