    my replacement for the subaru

well time to move on as id gone as far as i could with my scubaru really,so i bought this, evo 5 RS model and what a cracking starting point it is,the car is mint and being the RS its already light weight with better gears ,alloy panels,no frills and a propper diff withh out the AYC headaches,im not striping it out as far as i did the subaru as im still going to use it on the road as well,i really like the way this car goes now

Indeed, cant beat the 5's for value for money! And like you say no AYC problems.....been there done that and paid the price for the rs rear end in my 6

So long as you dont go too stupid with the engine it should be very reliable, mines done 4 or 5 trackdays now with me, 2 on full slicks and 15k miles so far as my daily runner, only problem i had was my first paddle clutch wore out but i did give it a very hard time, and a little oil surge as they are known for on right handers on slicks, aside from that just oil changes and lots of fuel

Haha they are well known for it! I get 18-20mpg round town and anything up to 30 on a run. Mines just stage 1 remap on 95 RON, 3" full exhaust, 8rs turbo 10.5ex housing, goes bloody well for what it is...fast enough for me! They drive really nice, just a little jerky at light throttle at low speeds! Wow your not messing about, what make was that....carbotech? The 3 plates are well out of my price range, i went for the alcon single gpN paddle...same as what came in the fq400's and it seems a lot nicer than the exeedy one i put in earlier in the year! You had yours long?
