hi all.. just a few pictures of the escort i recently bought. Have been road rallying a 16v 106 for the past few years, Built it myself and it turned out to be a good competative car until this happened:




Stripped the 106. Decided i wanted to go RWD so went and bought the escort.

Breif Spec:
RWD Titan shell, Big tunnel, Turreted. (MSA logbooked)
2L Pinto
Type 9 5 Speed Tranx box
Atlas Axle 5 Linked
ZF Lsd 4.6CWP
Bilstein & Gaz Cilovers
Alloy Tank
World cup x/m
Quick rack
Adjustable pedal box

The shell is a bit tatty on the outside, very solid underneath

Excuse my ignorance but how come it's on a L plate ?

The car has actually got the Mk1 escort chassis and ID. which was crashed and then built into this shell which was bought new from ford

So the mk3 shell is grafted onto the mk1 floorpan then ?
