Re: Danes mk2 escort Tarmac rally car build
plenty of progress this weekend!had a ride over to ralloy on saturday for the new radiator and underbonnet dry sump tank while also i received my new jenvey dth throttle bodys
me and rob set about putting the engine in plenty of looking back, eyeing in the engine to were it was square and level and welding the solid mount engine mounts.
managed to sort it and get it sitting in perfect i think it could have something to do with rob using his precise engine alignment goggles

Nice work Dane and Rob
Looks at home in there for a Luton Taxi LumpI've always thought Rob could do with some glasses, they suit him a treat!!
Fair play Dane, I didn't realise you were such a you such a youngster
Did you go for the 60mm core Rad? looks chunky. That's what I've changed to after Caerwent when it was 30DegC!!! Better to have some extra cooling capacity.
That's a long inlet length, should give a great balance between power and torque.

Luton taxi lump???"typical Essex boy"
well mattius it maybe a little heavyer than your duratec but I'm not in the tunnocks tea cake competition or have a religious kebab Thursday night with the boys
so that has to be worth 50bhp my way so we will call it quits "he he"

Gary has moved premises as well so Kebab nights are no more
That's what I used to call Robs engine, he loved it
So what Rad size is it???sigpicComment

Re: Danes mk2 escort Tarmac rally car build
There prepfab monte's mate there really wide! Infact that wide I need to have another axle casing built about 3" wider each side if you fancy it? As I'm not happy with the width I want the wheels right out to the archesComment
