Which software ?

What software are you all using ?
Not being much use or knowledgeable about such things,could someone tell me what the actual name of this stuff's called.Is it actually PHOTOSHOP or is that just what you call all the photo software ?
Or is there a particular version I should get,cos I wanna have a go but my PHOTOSUITE has none of the clever functions you are all using.
Also where's the best place to buy it,and how much does it cost ?
Not much to ask is it ?

www.jasc.com - Paint Shop Pro v.8

They are two seperate packages but are two of the best mainstream ones. Look them up for more info on their websites.

Photoshop v 7 is a humungous programme that most people won't use a tenth of (I think i'm up to about 1% so far ).

Try Photoshop Elements for a far cheaper and almost as usefull alternative.

Looks there is a free trial you can download - (can't save files though )

Paintshop Pro is by far the cheapest of the 2 at around 40-50quid

photoshop being the industry standard its VERY expensive but a way bigger program.. ur talkin into the hundreds for this....

alternativly u could get a "demo"
