One of the lads asked for this but I hope it's OK for you all?
It's easy but it takes a bit of patience
1st select one of the selection tools - either polygonal, magnetic or lasso, or a combination.

Then highlight the area you want to colour

Then use Alt or Shift to take away or add section e.g. hold Alt and click the start of the area to remove then release Alt and continue to highlight the area - I did this to remove the indicator from the selection below

Once you are happy with the slection Copy and Paste it. You will see a new Layer appear - this means you can manipulate the area without affecting the rest of the image.

Make sure the Layer you want to change is highlighted and select Image, Adjustments, Hue/Saturation as below:

Select Colorize and Preview and now it's just a case of playing with the three sliders until you get the required colour - once you're happy with the colour jot down the numbers in case you want to use it again and select OK.

The advantage of using Layers is that you can manipulate them separately and also turn them on and off by clicking the eye next to the Layer e.g.
On

Off
