Cheers, Yeah plain old 1.3, with Koni adjustable shocks and GMAX '*cut* springs, full 88 spec recaro interior, turbo rims, smoked rears, clear front indicators and side repeaters! Hopefully might get a 1.6 in it as soon as i can afford insurance etc! Took some updated pictures today so ill get them up ASAP, that siggy picture is well old! lol

the 1.3 ain't bad round a set of corners, as long as you keep up the revs, it's on the straight that it's a bit crap lol

You got a 4 speed or a 5 speed? I'm also lookin at gettin a 5 speed, do you know if it would be any good?

i'm hopefully gettin quited a few bits for xmas, so i'll keep you updated

17, yeah i think mondeo rims go well on mk4's mate has a red one with em on that looks nice! I got a 4 speed in mine dunno bout havin a 5 speed box though! One of my mates put a 1600 in his and left it with a 4 speed box that was quick as fuck on acceleration just not as good top end! Where abouts you from?

You got an uprated exhaust on urs? i need 1, but not sure wot to get. Cut out the airbox last week, sounds pretty nice wiv the standard exhaust, but it wants 2 stall evrywhere on these cold mornins until it's warmed up a bit

im from near birmingham, ever heard of Stourbridge? Lol drilling the airbox I'd have left it untill after the winter! Nah keeping exhaust standard IMHO opinion i think 1300s sound shite with an exhaust on, all blow and no go just like these novas and corsas!

Not sure bout the exhaust, the standard one just looks sooooo shit, but i don't want the 'all blow and no go' same as you, just a nice slightly sportier than standard sound maybe.

I think I have heard of it not sure though? I think I'll keep the standard exhaust, the way i see it is im never looking at the back so I wont know its there, if you know what i mean! How come you decided to have a mk4? mates got em or just wanted one?

I got my car cuz my dad's m8 had it for sale when i was 16, i went to have a look at it, and thought Yeah! that looks good! Now i've got it, i love it. It's got me into the whole Ford scene aswell, which is good, cuz i've got sum new m8s thru it, one wiv a 350bhp cossie, which i ain't moanin about some excitin rides out in that i can tell ya

I also like it cuz it's not the usual corsa/nova etc route ppl take as their 1st car

Well.......I used to be on that same 30mph road and i was gonna get a corsa i think when i was about 15, but then i saw this sign that sed 70mph and decided to go down that round and ended up with a mk4! Most of my mates have got mk4s some s1's some s'2 cossies etc, most of them are alot older than me like 25 but i think they influenced me on what to have! However i realise now how *** it would have been if i had stayed on that 30mph road!

So what bits you hoping to have for xmas?

well, stuff that i've gotta get soon, eitha 4 xmas or in the next 2 months or woteva, depending on the money i've got:

88 spec interior
red/smoked rear lights
Might be gettin a fibreglass rst bonnet, and a fibreglass boot with perspex window both 2nd hand
Mite be gettin sum 2nd hand fairly new koni adjustable suspension
Nice Momo 'Race' steering wheel

bit poor tho at the mo being a college student

Thats bout it until i can afford sum nice alloys/tyres, then i mite get a full 90 spec rst kit. Wot u rekon bout that, not sure myself? then hopefully a 1.6 wen i'm a bit older like u, or mite just get an rst.
