how do i use multiply images on one jpg?

dunno if this is in the right room but i guess one of you geniuses (or is that genei?) can help out..
I got a load of small images i wanna paste all onto one sheet how do i do this? I was thinking i open a new blank sheet, open my images on another and copy n paste them on my blank, then resize them and position them where i want them.. i'd love to post the pics on here and get you to do it but the girlfriend would kill me
