Yeah, I didn't spend enough time so the tyres are not quite right. Also have no idea what size the rims would be in real life.
It's a standard 1.7. I decided to tidy it up a bit so dropped it 40mm, put an induction kit and full Magnex system on it, changed the headlight and sidelight bulbs for Blue's, indicators & lenses for silver & clear respectively and put a set of 7.5J X 16's on it. Oh and spent a couple of painful hours making some mesh grilles from the front
There not the quickerst cars ever but it doesn't half handle well as RickB will testify after taking it around Elvington. Also sounds a lot better now with some decent induction and exhaust noise.
its looking good, similar sort of modifications to what i have done on my mondeo. i need to mesh the lower bumper panels which i am not looking forward to - but i am getting one piece pre-cut from someone else who dont need it any more!
i have the lowering kit and some other stuff ordered which will be fitted soon, oh and blue LED's for the interior door handle apertures (£5 each from www.speeding.co.uk) which give a soft diffused light to the aperture. they just wire straight into the elec window switch illumination wires - simple mod with excellent results (other colours available).
after that i need my boot spoiler fitted/sprayed, and front fogs, and get door handles and mirrors colour coded.
i have been held up with major restoration work to the jag.
