not entirely true article in classic ford

on page 18 of januarys classic ford ,, titled WING COMMAND,
they refer to wings as instigated by me and a well known panel supplier used their reources and know how to get them made,, also it refers to me as having helped bring the mk2 grilles to the market,
well,,, put it this way,,, i used to read every article in the magazine and think ,, wow, well done,, home built car, great collection, etc etc,, but from now on i will wonder,,,,,,, how much is actually true,, and how much is whatever classic ford magazine wish to be true,....

ps,, i do have every single issiue of the mag,, and no doubt will still buy,

What exactly are you trying to say with the above??
All's you've put is what the article says, not what you agree or disagree with!!!

i think OSR might be a bit pissed off with how the article reads & what actually happened with the production of the wings.

i haven't bought the magazine for probably well over a year now but previous to that got every single issue.

I think it's definitely worth an email to the editor, I'm sure he'll be happy to print a correction once he is put in the picture.

It does all depend who CF got the information from, people do love to blow their own trumpets if they think they can get away with it

        1968 MK1 Escort 1300GT
        1969 'Big Wing' MK1 Escort
        1972 MK3 Cortina 1600XL
        1984 Sierra XR4i
And other junk I don't like to talk about!

I think an interview with John followed by a well written and informed article would be quite an interesting read.
(not a comment on the current article as I haven't read it)
