    Sapphy's 'traditional' engine install

Alright, so it's not original, but to compete with some of the peeps on this board I would have to get a better job!

Here are some pics taken this evening. She still needs a bit of fettling (and a damn good clean!) but I can already tell that she is going to be a beast when fully setup. The good news is that it is now (as good as) run in and is going back down to Gaskin towers where Sharon will give it its final coat of wax .

There is also some lovely silverware to go in the engine bay, inlcuding a cromed Spec-r double bar strutbrace, a bailey swirl pot and breather. Clint has also got some top Turbosport(TM) bits in the pipeline to be fitted asap. Anyway, feast your eyes on the pics below, which shows an engine bay that currently is remarkably similar to most other engine bays

All I need to do now is source some nice looking 17"s and then I'll have Clints AP's off him!

Could do with an induction kit though!

      Cheers mate.
I caused a lot of trouble by wanting to return a mirror image breather kit when I realised that I would need to put a cone filter on it. I've heard mixed stories about these so decided not to go that route.

Looks good Saph, when I saw Clint the other day he was saying how nice your car was.

Cheers chap - that's always lovely to hear.
I must admit that by my standards I think the car looks pretty shoddy at the moment! I cant wait until I get the bodywork sorted (probably next year now though ) and give the interior a damn good shampooing.

oi Sapphy, those cam pulleys look very familiar, are those my old ones Mr Gaskin?

Looking good Sapphy, but watch out, there appears to be a jelly fish warning in the interior picture

                  LOL @ Wes

Cheers Wes, Andy and Wolfie. I have only just begun on this car, I have some serious plans for it although they will take time. Nothing too major, but the word 'clean' springs to mind. Not concours though, I haven't the patience. We'll see.
