Just to go over the mods (none of them are my doing, by the way):
Lowered on 16" Mondeo five spokes (was thinking of changing the wheels actually, I've always wanted a Hockenheim style rim).
Front splitter and rear diffuser bonded onto the factory kit.
De-locked and de-handled (slightly nervous about that).
Clear rear clusters (not sure if I like them or not yet).
Colour coded bumpstrips.
Orange indicator strip removed from headlights (I believe the ZSOC guys refer to it as 'de-tangoing' ).
Saxo 16v badges on rear pillar (definitely don't like them but they won't budge).
Obligatory K&N induction kit and magnex backbox.
Under bonnet detailing.
Front and rear strut brace.
Roll cage.
Buckets and harnesses.
Bit of ICE inside...I forget what makes, but compoments and a sub.
They look a whole lot better in the flesh...er, metal, than they do in the picture. Still, wouldn't mind some new wheels..charity drive to buy me a new set? Anyone?
nooooooooooooooooo keep those wheels on it, they look the nuts if u put 'bling ting' wheels on u might aswell get neons and some fuk off carbon spoiler
Mine has been "de-tangoed" makes such a difference, clear sides and front indicators, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dont do clear rears, as they are horrid, i simply sprayed the orange and clear part of my standard lights red, looks the business, and almost factory, cant go over the top on these little motors, bit of colour coding, exhuast, lowered a tad, altho it handles wicked as it is
I wouldn't have gone for clear rears but it already had them and to be honest...they're growing on me.
<winces and prepares himself for an inevitable kick up the arse and swift, hard headbutt>
Can anyone provide anymore information on Blufin (other than the rather cryptic info provided on the Superchips site)? Still can't quite work out what it's doing and how you do it.
The bluefin plugs in to the diagnostics port, downloads the standard ECU map, then uploads the new superchip one, normally adds some horsepower and improves MPG. Once thats done, you can remove the bluefin and keep it safe, its the same for putting the standard map back on, if you need to.
As it downloads the standard map into memory, you can actually leave the car with a blank ECU, if your leaving the car for a few weeks.
