I didn't get it Rob thats right so I just assumed you had sold them to the chap that was coming to look at them on the Saturday! I still have your original message tho from the Friday afternoon!
I will be at Mark's early but I was planning on dropping off my 5.5J's to the Wheel Hospital near Southend to be polished! If I was to buy yours I would then want them polished too which is gonna work out expensive in the long run. Doesn't hurt to look tho! Although I dont't think I have all the money anymore? Depends on how much you were selling them for? Maybe another PM?
Bit of a delayed reply, I used to use Rallye Design allot a few years ago but things change and Mark would know beter now. I want a garage like his! strange want? well if I had one i'd start my own fleet of RS's!
Thats not a strange want at all!! I would love a big garage so I could work on one car and keep the RS safe too! I wouldn't mine EITHER of Marks garages!!! Or the bloody cars! Do you know how lucky you are Mark?
How manys gargare and cars has he? Mark? I had a nice garage that kept one car and about 3ft all round at my ma & pa's but then I move out and bought my own place with a gargage that you can put a car in with 3ft one side only!
I have a double garage at home with the MK1 RS2000 and my bikes in it, If you put 2 cars in that one there is just enough room to walk up the middle of them, but it is fine with one and the bikes.
I also have a very large driveway at home.
And the workshop is at my Mums place that is big enough to squeeze 4 small to medium cars in with loads of room between them, that is where Clint's RS my Mk2 and my mini are be better if I had all the space at the one house though.
Currently I have my Mk1 RS2000, the Mk2 RS that is a restoration project, a mini (for restoration) my 3dr Cossie, a Saff Cossie (Toppy's old one), a BMW 535i and a Mondeo (for sale), and the bikes.
Mark,
That is not what we were talking about, but seeing as you asked I've got the use of 5 single garages (1 is mine, 1 is rented and 3 are borrowed )and I own 3 motorbikes (CBR1100 Superblackbird, NTV650 and RD350lc), 5 cars (1996 Golf Gti 16v anniversary, 1980 RS2000 custom, 1978 RS2000 Custom, 1977 Mexico and a 1979 Harrier) and a van (Transit 1996 2.5 Diesel High top) plus the shed'o'spares of course.
Got the tyres removed from the rims today so I'm all set for Saturday!!!
Mark, I still haven't seen any directions mate?? and what are we going to do about the casings? Are you going to see if them dampers fit the ones you have?
Looks well m8. But i MUST say i prefer Proper RS alloys. I really think u should swap the steels for a set???. Mind u if your stuck i have a very nice set of Ser2 RST Ones that would go on a treat!!!!
