heres a pic I took recently up the CN tower in toronto. Theres a glass floor...and it's a bit high up!!

A bit high up???? I have trouble looking out of an upstairs window

did you jump up and down on the glass to scare those stood around you? that would have been my inclination.

i was up the empire state building a couple of months back and this bloke was running along very fast looking backwards and bunched into someone looking over the edge, a big fight nearly ensued. clever behaviour for being up a tall tower.

The glass floor was weird, it was OK if you stepped gingerly out onto it, but if you strode out towards the other edge it felt really strange. Didn't get wobly legs but didn't exactly feel like jumping up n down either!
Reserved my winding up other people for the way down. The lift was amazingly fast taking only about 30 second to go the whole distance. Remember, this lift has glass walls! The standard falling whistle (think wylie coyote falling off an extrememly large cliff) was enough to upset some people they weren't best pleased.

this shows how high you are compared to other buildings!!


this one is from the ground up. It doesn't look to big until you realise that the windows up the side are divided into the equivalent of one for each floor!


...it swayed a fair bit too!

bloody hell that is massive, looks alot bigger than the empire state and eiffel tower etc.

thats from a plane tho percy.. lol Nice pic of NY tho. I took off from Newark on my way home and NY was an amazing site at night, the picture didn't come out tho

How about this... 32,000 ft high enough for ya!
I took this cause of the amazing pattern in the sea, I think it's the coast of newfoundland or something in that kind of area... The flow round the ice is crazy eh!.

thats a damn good pic, my one of new york above was from a helicopter though.

i have a good one of the alps i took from a plane the other week i will post it here when i get home.

I looked up the heights. The CN tower is 1815 ft tall!! compared to the Empire state building which is only 1250ft. Thats almost 1 and a half times as big!!! Because the CN tower is an aerial it's not counted as a building so isn't commonly featured when talking about highest structures. just a little fyi

took this on my way to the middle east last year. I'm sure it's the alps, from 32k ft again.
