Got the car sorted now... Will pop a few pics up of the "before & after"

all seems alot better now. We are back out this weekend on the Centenary Stages also have an entry in the Promenade stages and Caerwent

How did you get on at the Prom Stages Lee? Its one event i have always seen and would like to do one day but its a long way from the sunny south coast!

Alright bud,

Cracking venue, really well organised and the pace was unreal! Man there were some quick cars there we got up to 23oa then on stage 9 we popped a copper brake line! :/ lost a little bit of time getting to the finish, managed to fix it for stage 10 where we had to stop on stage to check the wheels (steering went funny and heavy, with all the rushing around sorting the brakes we didn't think we had torqued the wheels) turned out we had and it was the electric pas playing up!!

Defo an event for next year. Awesome place

Ended up 28oa. I have got footage will try and upload over the next day or 2

Yep, really like the venue but its deffo a power rally. I was thinking of doing it in my crossflow powered car but I think it would be embarrassing! Is the st170 engine in yours std it goes really well

Everyone's on a budget, get out there and have a laugh. No one would laugh at you.

The engine is standard with bike carbs, it has got me thinking now about power, will be having it out over the winter I think

Cheers mate . Cracking day loved the venue! We had a poor start to the day with my nav going ill on stage 1 an 2 so we had to stop mid stage for him to sort himself out. Remaining 3 stages were great,.. The maps were really technical and there was that much going on so I told him to tell me what he can see. Just ignore the map. And we had tidy runs!

Cheers Paul! Car felt strong and all the latest work on the car seemed to pay off well, glad I got the compression struts on! Huge upgrade from the twincam arm.

Yea first time at caerwent! I loved it myself, I think it's definitely one of those places where knowledge is worth big results

Top work on the car pal, Few of us on here that now that started off in the lanes.

I love Caerwent, but it doesnt like me so much. Started 3 events and had 2 DNF's but I'll go back for more next year.

Have you got any plans for 2014 yet?

i think the lanes are the best place to learn!

lol it seems like that place is like that with many people!

not sure on my plans for next year as were looking for a house, but im sure to be out. Fancy the HOE championship as we have done 4 events of it this year. or may just have a dable on the events i like! hardly worth entering a championship, the 2L class has so much competition!
