What you gonna race it in, would be good in the Brit cars or you could come and play with us in the Dunlop Track and race car championship

You have got to come out and play with Rod Birley, TonyRyan, Pete Thurston, DW etc in the TRCC.

The last time I see one of those it was Hillclimbing in France, be good to see it thundering down Paddock.

i have signed up for brit cars, and will be doing the eight rounds includeing the 5hr race at snetterton.

but hope to do some rounds of the southern track ect as well. where possible.

Should Be Fun As It Has Done 47 Sec Round Brands Indy

Snetterton Is Slower With The Long Straight @ 1.12 Sec

All I Have To Do Now Is Learn To Drive It.

I belive Rods done Brands Indy... in .49, he did a 50ish in the last round with ice on the track along the pit wall

There's not much in it between cars and bikes at brands time wise then?
Last year my fl of brands indy was a mid 51 on a 72hp SV650, the big difference is budget, SV owed me £6k max, friend of mine was doing powerbikes on a GSXR1000 built for under £10k got in to mid 49's.

General club classes times are 51>54s

the main difference is birleys escort has over 600 bhp and four wheel drive

were as the merc is built for corners and has no lag,

but with around 385 max bhp in a straight line the escort will be quicker,

the 47 sec was on hardest slick dunlop make as there races where 2hrs

on normal slicks i have been told by andy that 46 sec would be on the cards

i will be happy to get to near sub 50 sec laps,

maybe after i have loads of practice i could shoot for the quicker lap times.

rod also has massas of track exsperience and i only have one season,

so i will be happy to be near the front only.

rods record from his site ever is

49.7 sec for brands indi

but he does regular 50 sec laps
