I'll try an updated picture, not very good at posting them. Engine and box in, Carbs and exhaust manifold on, exhaust needs a little bit of modification but not that far off ready for start up.

Looking good. I think your pics are still a bit too big though, they're taking ages to load.

Hi mate, it's made by mark shillaber at srd down Cornwall way, he built the head and the manifold matches that.

So car is nearly finished, hopefully out on the jj brown road rally next weekend. Hopefully I can upload some photos. Pleased with how the engine has turned out.

Managed to get over to the jj brown rally, a mega steady start and a couple of wrong slots meant not the best of results at 36th o/a. Too much bias on the front brakes and really muddy lanes on the first half made it tricky earlier on, got an idea of the cars potential later on when the roads were dryer. Bar a dodgy second gear synchro the car didn't miss a beat.

Didn't get to the start in the end, but heard them going past the back of the house!! A local lad was first car home after doing the Killarny Historic the previous weekend 👍
