cheers ken, i suspect a large part of the results were conditions and track layout and me having the confidence to really push as oppossed to a massive step forward in the car itself

Re: A racing bmw 316, hopefully the worlds most powerfull Atmo M10

stephen and i had a look over the car, found a shagged tyre, and a knackered set of discs and pads,

we also looked very hard for some more weight saving, with the odd nut and bolt or bracket here and there we found maybe 2kgs,

then i changed the rear springs

i had a highly technical reason to change them, aand that was i found some shorter ones in the shed! the same poundage but 2.5 iches shorter that was another kilo saved,

i,ve parted company with the girlfriend this week so not really been in the mood to do anything, but decided some retail theripy might be good, or in otherwords spend the money i was saving for our holiday and look what i found

so im now the proud owner of some new black rubber, even though i got a very good deal, the holiday money didnt cover the expense so i think we will be living on beans on toast for the next month

Your kids are going to love dinner for the next few weeks

Sorry to hear about the parting of ways, but at least you got new tyres out of it, thats the important thing

What compound have you gone for? Planning to get some money back selling on the old tyres?
