Not been updated in ages so one zetec droped in! Sump dont catch the xmember like it does in an Escort so no need to mod the sump!



One nice manifold thanks to neil at 105speed for that and all the help and advice!
Its an Anglia rather than an Escort manifold.



Home made engine mounts one side mounts on the xmember and one side in the chassie. Big thanks for my dad for fabricating them will be using Escort rubber mounts.


BMW Rad as it was cheap and fits in the hole!


Going to be running MTB (zx6)and mega jolt.




Cant wait to start work again as have not had the time in the last 3 months to even look in the garage

Been a while since i had an update ! so hear goes.
As you can see the standard sump clear's the cross member
unlike an escort!

Home made engine mounts will do the job!



As you can see loads of room in the engine bay in an Avenger.




Might need to raise the bonnet

My mate put the same engine in his Avenger a few years ago and I'm sure he didn't have any bonnet clearance issues.

just one thought, i though for road rallying you can only have a maxium of 2 carb chokes????????

Yeh this is true but it depends on what type of permit thay are running it on ! The car will be getting logbooked aswell to do single venue's and the T.O.M if i get a place!
The engine will put out enuf power to get me started going to spend all my efforts on the brakes and handling and i think the old girl will suprise a few people!
