found an ad for epoxy mastic 121 in RETRO CARS mag going to do all the underside with it .
its a two pack paint and cost a lot £65 for the two tins plus thinners going to need some more as well.
can brush or spray it on then going to spray in white very happy with it

looked worse than it was ,very happy to find very little rust on the car.

still working on the car when i can been a bit cold in the garage of late, with lots of swearing and cursing trying to work in a single garage theres never any room.
as you can see trying to clean it up on the underside ready for paint. i keep finding more bits to take off and clean up
it also going to need a new rear box as most of the inside fell out on the garage floor when the exhaust was taken off

                                had lots of fun today
taken the anti tramp bars and rear bilsteins off to clean round the mounting on the body ,then paint the bars an fit new poly bushes ,to tramp bars and dampers

what an arse of a job small rubber bushes came out not to bad but the large ones have the metal shell to come out,so i used a junior hacksaw to very carefully cut making sure i did not cut the tramp bar some slots then with a big screwdriver and big hammer punch it out - 2 hours later there out maybe i should have gone to the local garage for them to press them out .

superflex do cost but i did run them on my race 205 pug and was very happy with them.
