Re: my gsmotosport time attack cosworth
Great write up and pics, car looks superb and just proves you don't need 500+bhp to make a cossie really quick
In those last pics the car looks just a tad high at the front which won't help with the understeer that you mentioned, is it possble to get it a little lower just at the front? Just a thought. Keep up the good work, hopefully you'll inspire a few more fords to enter

thanks mate, 500bhp to come next year lol
it is probably to do with that and the rock hard springs that were on it lol getting the car ready for brands hatch this weekend, how is your one coming along?

Re: my gsmotosport time attack cosworth
Slowly but surely mate. I had, not bad understeer, but a little bit of a problem with turn in at clearways (Brands) and got over that with slightly softer front springs and about a 10mm drop on the front

Re: my gsmotosport time attack cosworth
havn't updated for a while,
june 26th i had a race at brands hatch, it was the hottest weekend of the year so far and was seeing track temps of 45 degrees.
the car ran faultless as usual
and i finsihed in 5th position the r888's seemed to go off after two laps and after being held up by a supra on my flying lap posted a time of 54 seconds, was speaking to a lot of the other guys who had done testing at brands and they said they were posting times 1-2 seconds quicker than their quickest lap on the sunday a couple of days before, the heat was killing the tyres they said.
some pics

qualifying
final
last week i had a race at cadwell park, what a track!!
after nearly melting in the car at brands hatch, decided a roof scoop was needed

arrived at cadwell hopeing to try and get on track the day before as i've never been their before but it was to busy, so only managed a couple of laps as a passenger.
car all clean and ready to go

my best lap time of the day was a 1;43 securing me second place in my class

the podium

champagne in my eye, stings like buggery

the trophy

me and my proud dad

the final race is at snetterton and with a possible 105 points to bag i am 20 points from the leader, didnt expect to be quite so high up in my first year
