    Moistys mk2 rally car

Hi guys I've been looking at all the build posts on here for a while and I thought I should put up some pics of mine.
The shell had already had the 4 link done and had been painted buy the previous owner, i have to change a few things like seat mounts and the b pillar bars to fit the new seats.
The engine is a 2.3 duratec the gearbox is a 5 speed but this will be changed in the new year to a Saenz TT3 when I have enough coin and the diff is an Atlas 5.1.
Ill add more pics as it progresses

the rollcage tube arrived on friday so i added a few bars to the cage and so did the seat mounts from GRP4 so they went straight in as well

A bit of progress in the last couple of weeks.
i have fitted the new rear firewall and carbon foot rests new 4 link bars as the last ones were rose jointed both ends, fitted new bilstien 260/60 front shocks and rubber mount strut tops as it will be a gravel rally car.
I have fitted raised gear lever surround for clearance and the new hydraulic hand brake.
My mate has resprayed the interior and engine bay for me in gunn metal grey, it came out pretty good considering the lack of prep i put into it.
Ive bolted up a few pieces but am waiting on braided fuel lines and fittings before i go to far.
I also got my induction in the post from Eurospeed in Brisbane and also my custom loom for the Motec, it looks very well made and am hopping it goes together nicely.

              Re: Moistys mk2 rally car

Its been a while since i have put up any photos of the build, i am now going with a 2.5 duratec, the Saenz tt3 gearbox should be on its way as i write this.
Brake lines have been made and fitted, the custom milspec loom is getting done at gr motorsport electrics, i am going to be using a motec pdm to get rid of all relays and fuses and am using motec cdl3 dash to keep the new dash from galway carbon nice and clean. I also recieved my carbon bonnet and it fits perfectly, as does all the gear i have bought from them.
I may have got a little carried away with the carbon fibre but it looks so good!
I changed the panhard rod out for a watts link setup from grp4, it would be alot easier if i had a hoist but the garage ceiling isnt high enough
I also had to add another cross into the rollcage to meet the latest rules and the tunnel will need to be altered to fit the gearbox so it means i will have to respray the inside
              Anyway here are some pics

Airlie beach...you're a lucky man! If you need any help when you're in brissy with the car pm me and I'll pass on my mobile number. My mate Bruce is building a 2.5 duratec for someone at the moment...it's not for you is it?

If it's a group 4 Fabs tunnel are they not big enough to fit most gearboxes in ?

What mods do you have to do to it ?

Saenz box is 90 mm shaft centres and they are side by side rather than under and over so the drivers side will need to be opened up about 40 mm
