along a similar train of thought.
those that have spent years competing in modified production, tuning and developing the car each year with the production based engine would be mightily upset if a newcomer came in with a car with no racing pedigree but insane power/speed due to running a more powerful/torquey/lighter engine than originally produced in that car.
i'm struggling with both concepts, i'd love to race but just for a change fancy owning an engine swapped car and don't fancy competing against the radicals.
it would be nice to have a middle ground but you could water down the classes as much as you wanted and end up with 3 cars in each class
