Hi All
I've been Sprinting and Hillclimbing my Grp4 Escort for about 5 years now, I do as many events as I can around work as I have to work a lot of weekends so I just pick and choose the ones I like really. The car is fully road legal and is built as a tarmac rally car but the class I run in (modified production) doesn't need the car to be road legal, doesn't need lights, dash or anything more than a steering wheel, seat and pedals so I have fun keeping the others at bay.
Had lots of class wins and seconds, sprinting is very good for entry level/cheap racing and you don't damage your prize motor unless you prang it!! see http://www.turbosport.co.uk/s...ad.php?t=93506 for a full spec.
