Nope not a policeman or anything to do with the law or the government.I work in Television so we get used to looking out for small details or something that looks different & for some reason that jumped out at me.
You must have a heart attack every time you watch a Netflix series then, what with their continuity mistakes on almost every scene. And I don't mean little things like a moved curtain, I mean cars that get all their windows smashed and then speed off with a full set of windows!
There are some howlers on TV definitely and in films too. I worked a little on Eastenders years ago and they took hundreds of polaroids ( that was high tech at the time) of anything that might need continuity and kept an album of each scene such as food on plate, time on a clock, how much drink was in a glass etc in case a scene had to be re shot so they could match everything to the original . Eastenders was shot about 6 weeks ahead of whats going out on TV so to keep it up to date during the edit they drop in bits of up to date news as if its on the radio in the background of a scene which makes it feel real.To be fair its a complicated job and only noticed when it goes wrong. Even pre-shooting presenter links over a couple of days that are going to be used together they have to wear the same outfit otherwise it wont cut together. A lot of thought goes into it actually.
Just trying to see if I've got to grips uploading photo's any better. Engine still not in the car yet but is complete as such. Here's picture complete with split 48's
I'll try an updated picture, not very good at posting them. Engine and box in, Carbs and exhaust manifold on, exhaust needs a little bit of modification but not that far off ready for start up.
