Stainless manifold is a copy off Ebay, by some shower, cant remember their name, flanges were made of too thin material and kept warping after high boost runs so I had to tig weld the two parts together to keep it gas tight. Advantage with the manifold is the whole manifold weighs less the the small part of the original cast item. I think it was around £75 which was about £30 too much for the quality.

Yes the motor is very laggy and would like to sort anti lag out as the Autronics ECU is already equipped for it. That will be the more or less sandard head and throats with BD16 cams.

Car is in the workshop up on stands at the mo doing some work to the rear beam so no pics at the mo, it will be out again around April/May for lots of track time and perhaps a few hill Climbs/Sprints

I ran autronics on an evo 5 and it was the nuts.

just get Mark Shead to map it!

            Nice car

Your shiny exhaust manifold wont be helping your Lag though ...

Tubular manifolds shed loads of heat (energy out of the charge), you`d find it better with teh standard one on there or ceramic coat the pretty one inside to keep the energy in the pipe

The exhaust manifold is heat wrapped very well as the heat it lets out ate 2 altenators even with drop brackets and heat shield. The saving in weight over the standard cast manifold is worth using it to be honest. Even with all the problems it has given me.

Bought ECU off Mark and got Rob @ SCC to map it for me, he was impressed with the torque. Car is having new beam and arms at the mo money permitting, sticking with analogue gauges and not going for a Stack, I think antilag will have to wait until next year now. Spent long enough building it so just want to clean up the rear end and get it back on the road for some "burn up boy racer" fun
