Pretty much. Helps with the overall appeareance.
Not sure wether to paint it or leave it shiny shiny. I dont want the alloy corroding.

The ally shouldn't corrode Graham, not unless it gets covered in a corrosive liquid, Matt's is left bare.

If that's one of the newer duratecs with the new head design, then you'll be looking at getting about 10% more power out of that too

Finally, Chesman motorsport have finished the rebore of my 2.0 Zetec.

Not that I need it now.

So I'll be selling the 2.0 Zetec, acid dipped block, bored to 1998cc, with JE Pistons and Eagle rods, and a lapped 2.0 crankshaft, with all new bearing shells. Offers anyone?

OK sold the 2.0 Zetec project engine. Gone to a good home.

I've been updating the website over the past couple of weeks. It now uses SSI to help ease the administration. I'm trying to make it look more professional.

Back from a weeks holiday in Devon, so time to crack on with the conversion.

Fitted the Jenvey manifold and TB's tonight to see what I need to cut to get it all in.

Looking like I'll need to either completely remove the front cross member, to give me enough depth for a radiator, or come up with some other cunning plan to squeeze a rad in.

                        8 injector?

More's the point Graham, where the hell are the trumpets going to go?

Yes, 8 injectors will be wired and plumbed in and the DTA ECU controlling the whole lot.
I'm toying with removing the whole of the front valance, and fitting steel tube across the width of the car to give it strength, and sufficient clearance for the radiator. The cross member would also go, but I'd have to replace it with a tube strong enough to mount the front tie bars to. Not rocket science, but its definitely going to get dirty in the process.

Front engine mount now sorted. Just need to hack a huge great hole in the chassis rail for the gearbox mounting (gulp).

                                Anyone any better ideas?
