As I'm number 1 this year I thought I should push the boat out and have a fancy number too!

Wheel bearing went on last race, so I replaced it with a new one. Didint seem to want to come out very easily this time though, hence in pieces!

Few pics of the new brake pedal.

Car has had all the graphics done now. All windows and seals fitted. Stripped off most of the body panels so they dont get scratched during the rest of the build!

Also hooked up an empty engine and gearbox casing and shipped it off to have a custom exhaust manifold made. Pick the car up later in the week.

What exhaust manifold were you running earlier?

I was using a modified Milltek system, which wasnt a bad system, just not perfect!

Couldn't be bad since the engine is pushing 160 bhp. But perfecting the exhaust to the rest of the set up may well give some more gains.
Was that 4-2-1 or 4-1 and what about this new one?
I'm a bit interrested in the matter since I just finished my own manifold.

It was and still will be 4-2-1 manifold.

The exhaust wasnt the restricting factor on power before, I was more limited to still having many standard parts, such as rods and pistons, so couldnt rev it that much.

With the new pistons, rods, cam profiles, throttle bodies, inlet and exhaust port shapes etc etc the exhuast needed to be changed to suit to get the most out of it. Time will tel if it has all been worth it.

Picked up the car from maniflow yesterday. Done an awsome job on the manifold, very impressed. Will get some better pics when I remove it from the car.

New higher pressure header tank cap, with lever pressure release.

                              On newly polished header tank.

                              Mocal oil cooler

                              Take off, fittings and hose.

2 litre Mocal oil catch tank.

It all looks very very nice! Especially that manifold! How long did it take to be made? Is it mild steelor stainless?
